NEW ORLEANS MISSION TRIPS

 

Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church is sponsoring three mission teams that will be going

to New Orleans this spring on two separate weeks.  We’re thrilled with the response and excited about the terrific work awaiting us.  Here’s the information about what each of the teams will be doing, and where they’ll be staying. Team Leaders have the list of travelers.

 

March 15 – 22, 2008

27 people will be staying at the Jefferson Presbyterian Church and working through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance rebuilding homes.  The team leader is Sharon Lee.

April 12 – 19, 2008

55 people will be staying at two locations in the New Orleans area.  28 will stay at the Jefferson Presbyterian Church. Many of these are young people and families. They will be working through the Presbytery of South Louisiana’s Presbytery Community Outreach program rebuilding homes. Web site: pcoslidell.org   The team leader is Doug Bradbury.

 

27 people will be staying at the St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church and will work through their Rebuilding Hope in New Orleans program (RHINO) which is partnering with Habitat for Humanity. The team leader is Roger Juselius. Web site: http://www.scapc.org/Pages/rhino.html
